Climate Kits

Junior Entrepreneur Program

Stackallen National School

Get Started

Hello members of the public. Welcome to our junior entrepreneur web site.

We are pupils from Stackallen N.S

The aim of the Junior Entrepreneur Program is to help kids learn how to become an entrepreneur by making a product and selling it.

We will learn about finance, marketing and consumer interests using surveys.

This is our groups idea. Our idea is to stop climate change by making a climate kit.

What is climate change?

Climate change is when the earth is warming up and sea levels are rising.

How is it caused?

Climate change is caused by green-house gases such as methane and carbon dioxide entering the atmosphere.

How is it affecting us?

Climate change is affecting us by the earth getting warmer and animals going extinct and loads of natural disasters.

What can we do?

We can reduce plastic waste and eat less meat.

Our Product

Development process

Initial thoughts - our first thoughts were to make coasters but we thought that our teacher would not let us use knives to carve the wood and then we thought about stress balls but everyone had mixed opinions then we decided to come up with climate-kits. product testing/prototypes

What we did

Reality - in the end we decided to make 2 kits one junior and one senior. In the junior kit which will be sold to people in juniors to second in it is a story which is also a colouring book, stress ball and some other fun stuff. The senior has an eco friendly spray cleaner ,stress ball all the recycling signs.

Pricing

How we came up with the price- our survey said we should sell our product for £5 but we decided for £4.50 Is the price fair- we think the price is fair because we’re only making £1.50 profit Where does the money go?- we haven’t decided were the money will go

Here is our Eco-friendly cleaner and some stress balls.
